marko fürstenberg from dingelstädt (.de) is one of the netaudio pioneers, who is constantly releasing high quality dub-techno throughout the years.
always carrying his mobile laptop-studio with him, the restless and talented musician records environmental sounds and creates grooves wherever he travels. some of the massive chords on this ep, therefore are rememberings of his last years gigs in canada, sweden and the two appearances in switzerland. at the varioclub in olten and the kairo club in bern, he convinced the crowd with his floating and long live-sets.
also he is one of the early thinner-activists setting the standards with his milestone "dub expo ep" and his latest "gesamtlaufzeit album release on www.thinnerism.com. for "inaxa stream" he returns back to his chain reaction and basic channel roots: deepest dub-films from the very geographic centre of germany.

Subject: surphase?
Subject: surphase?
I think marko is aka surphase, i cannot remember.. in any case, this is a bad ass release of minimal dub techno. realaudio.ch is building up a great back catalogue of music and I hope they add more soon to their techno side (ratcXXX) rather than the ambient side (even tho its killer as well, as noted by the great holger flinsch release).
Very repetitive with a strong dancefloor mix energy Inaxa Stream ranges from the 4/4 concentrated realms of one track to the Dub concentrated flow on the next.
If there's any downfall to this release it might be that each track is a little too similar to the other. I was also disappointed with the Mononoide remix, but i liked it better than marko's remix of a mononoide track also available @ ratc005.
The standouts on this one for me have got to be silent stream, inaxa, and the original version of east dub... but its perhaps best listened straight through like all good records.
Now I gotta track some more of this stuff down... where's that link to thinner and rohformat at? Oh, there it is..
